The Ghana School Project is dedicated to raising funds to complete construction on a seven classroom Roman Catholic primary school in Fiagbedu, Ghana, Africa. Fiagbedu is located in the Lake Volta Region of Ghana, about a four hour drive west of Ghana's Capitol, Accra.

The Ghana School Project got its start with Father Tony Fevlo, a Catholic Priest stationed in the United States by the SMA Fathers. After a plea from his hometown in Ghana, Father Tony accepted the task of replacing a 60 year old primary school building.

My Father, Charles Bures, volunteered to help Father Tony raise these funds and promote an international relationship between our communities in the United States and Ghana. The long term vision of the GSP is to empower Ghanaians through education. This vision entails not just building one school, but continuing to build a library and other educational amenities that can educate not only children, but adult members of the community.

I, Jim Bures, decided to help my Father raise funds making this a "Father-Son" project.
